Brazilian jiu jitsu (BJJ)

Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a martial art that focuses on wrestling with a special emphasis on ground fighting. BJJ is based on the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend himself against a larger, stronger, heavier opponent. This is done with the help of technology, leverage and above all: taking the fight to the ground and then using grips to defeat the opponent.
